No matter what kind of products in the production process will inevitably appear some defective products, forging manufacturers of products is no exception, and forging manufacturers of products prone to defects, there are oxidation, decarburization, overheating, burning and cracks, etc., the next small series with everyone one by one analysis, the causes of these defects and improvement methods.
Forging manufacturer's products in the heating process with the intracranial oxidizing gas, through the chemical reaction of what the formation of oxide phenomenon is called oxidation reaction, and the emergence of metal blank oxide skin, not only will make the metal burning, and even reduce the surface quality of forging manufacturers products and the accuracy of its size. However, when the mechanical depth of the oxide scale pressed into the forging exceeds the machining allowance, it may even cause the product of the forging manufacturer to be scrapped. In the heating process, the carbon element on the surface of the forging manufacturer's product reacts with oxygen and other media, resulting in the phenomenon that the oxygen element content on the surface is reduced, which is called decarburization.
Decarburization will reduce the surface hardness of the products added by the forging factory, and the wear resistance will also be reduced. If the thickness of the decarburization is less than the mechanical addition, it will not cause harm to the products of the forging factory, otherwise it will affect its quality. At this time, if the surface of the ingredients is coated with protective coating, rapid heating, heating in reducing medium or neutral medium, this phenomenon can be alleviated. The products of forging manufacturers are called overheating because the heating temperature is too high or the holding time is too long under the high temperature phenomenon, which causes the phenomenon of coarse grains. The appearance of overheating will reduce the plasticity of the forging, and the mechanical properties of the forging will also be reduced. At this time, the manufacturer needs to strictly control the temperature of the forging during the heating process and shorten the holding time of the high temperature stage as much as possible to prevent this phenomenon.
If the heating temperature of the forging manufacturer's product exceeds the starting forging temperature, the grain boundary will melt or oxidize, which is called over-injury and over-injury. Then the strength of the forging material will be seriously reduced, thus making the plasticity of the product too poor, and once it is forged, it will become waste. There is no way to save it, so correct operation is required. During the heating process of some relatively large forging manufacturers, if the temperature in the furnace is too high or the heating speed is too fast, the temperature difference between the internal temperature and the surface temperature will be too large, resulting in excessive internal stress., Causing cracks in the product, so in the process of heating large forgings, it is necessary to prevent the temperature from being too high or the heating speed is too fast, so it is generally necessary for forging manufacturers to take certain heat protection measures.
